On August 16 & 22 and September of 2014, The American Legion Riders Chapter 58 in conjunction with The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 58 held 3 events called "OPERATION APPRECIATION" These were donation drives designed to supply the 379th ENG CO Massachusetts National Guard and the Oxford food bank with much needed supplies.
A Member of Post 58 was with this unit and was deployed to Afghanistan and has since returned. This Unit as were many other soldiers who are deployed were in the need of basic personal care, toiletries, snacks and other items where here are able to run to the store and pick up on a daily basis.
Through our drives we were able to send out 498 packages to our men and woman in the Military and Supply several boxes of non perishable food items to the Oxford Food Bank. These are year round activities of the American Legion Riders Chapter 58.

Oxford Food Shelf- WE collect non perishable foods that in current date guidelines and once a month we bring our boxes to the Oxford Food Shelf. If you have a donation you would like to contribute you can bring them to the post and place in the box that is located downstairs in the Lounge.
